About Me
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
In addition to my private practice I have experience in various mental health settings, having worked as a Psychodynamic Therapist in various organisations. I have been involved in supporting trainee counsellors and play therapists, supported students individually and facilitated groups.
An experienced Integrative Psychodynamic Therapist that offers individual counselling for adults and young people. I provide a therapeutic space that allows you to explore your feelings in a supportive environment that is friendly, confidential and a non-judgemental approach. I believe that the therapeutic space held for counselling is really important and should feel comfortable and welcoming.
My approach is collaborative, practical and flexible, focusing on helping people find early relief as well as longer-term sustainable change. I offer either long-term or short-term work, with experience in addressing a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, harassment/bullying, trauma, abuse, life-changes or adjustment to loss or illness.
The key to successful therapeutic counselling is finding the right counsellor to support your therapy needs. I am happy to answer any questions you may have via email or by phone call prior to our first meeting.
I see clients from the age of 11 years old to much older clients
